I shaped the creative direction for Tech Lab 1094, refining its visual identity and translating it into a spatial brand experience for a new digital content lab.

Tech Lab 1094 was created as a strategic centre for videogames, digital content, experimentation, training, incubation, and creative technology. The challenge was to give the lab a visual identity that could feel technical and future-facing, but also physical, welcoming, and connected to the activity happening inside the space.


The design response focused on giving the existing logo a stronger creative direction and extending the brand into the environment.

I expanded the colour palette with a new accent designed to work with the furniture and interior materials, created connection elements across the lab, and translated the identity into a 17-metre mural that captured the different disciplines, tools, and creative processes living inside the space.

The system also extended to the exterior façade and brand materials such as wallpapers, welcome cards, and internal applications. The result was not just a logo applied to a building, but a visual language that helped the lab feel like a place with purpose, energy, and its own creative ecosystem.

A brand becomes real when it enters the space people use.

For Tech Lab 1094, the value was in moving from identity to environment. The design gave the lab a recognisable presence, connecting brand, space, and activity so people could understand what the place was about before even using the technology inside.
